Dogtown–Australian label Mr. Carter looks to 1970’s Venice Beach in Southern California for the inspiration of their spring/summer 2013 collection. Perfectly embodying the iconic skateboarders of the time, photographer Gary Golembiewski shoots model Nicolas Pestalozzi for the lookbook, which features the label’s laid-back take on street wear. Juxtaposing the comfort of windbreakers, t-shirts and other basic essentials with tailored options that include jackets and knits, Mr. Carter strikes a balance of casual pieces and their more polished counterparts.
