Founded in 1989, British designer Nicole Farhi is celebrating the twentieth year anniversary of her label. Farhi like many other designers had started out with womenswear before branching out to include menswear. Reflecting on her beginnings, Farhi expressed that she “was designing women’s clothes that had a masculine touch.” It only made sense for the next step to be a venture in menswear, so the following year she did just that opening a men’s store in Floral Street, Covent Garden. Celebrating this achievement, this fall’s collection inspired by the Japanese design aesthetic boasts a range of limited edition pieces that are meant to reflect the story of Nicole Farhi as a label. Each representing a special occasion, the garments will be embroidered with the number twenty in gold and “Nicole Farhi Menswear” in black.
