showing once again at modalisboa, porto based designer nuno gama presented for aw1011 a collection entitled “soldiers of our heritage” …

inspired by a longing for immense nature spaces and large shelters, the collection featured a strong military reference mixed with portuguese clothing traditions such as the one of the pauliteiros with their full white look & colourful minhoto-style kerchiefs …
their face hidden by mexican-style wrestling masks, the models were sporting great felt army coats with natural leather belts, comfortable shearling jackets, pea coats with fur collar or lining, short jackets with leather strap details, burnous-style cape, chunky or shaggy knits (loved the blue cable one), ‘double’ club ties and leather riding boots …
predominance of white in combination with brown, grey and blue …
styling details : white mittens & masks, multicoloured fringed sashes, blue socks …
on the occasion of this show nuno gama launched his 1st shoe collection produced by eureka
