This time around, Off-White and Nike have collaborated on the Air Force 1 Mid. The brands celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Air Force 1 sneaker by revisiting the famous shoe and producing a campaign. Virgil Abloh’s legacy is also acknowledged in the production of the ad. In 2020, Abloh launched Architecture, a creative firm that oversaw the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid campaign.

Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid Campaign

The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid campaign has the Seattle Public Library as its background. Virgil Abloh’s prior locales for Off-White advertising like Phillip Johnson’s Glass House or Mies van der Robe’s Barcelona Pavilion fit nicely with this setting. Meanwhile, the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid campaign features Lukas Wassmann’s photography with Gabriella Karefa Johnson’s styling.

For the Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid campaign, Lukas Wassmann focuses his camera lens on creative director Kamil Abbas, Bstroy’s Duey Catorze, and DJ Hank Korsan. Wassmann photographs each subject in Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid sneakers, with each model’s unique personality and style adding to the campaign. The limited-edition sneaker standouts out with its airy mesh and spiked outsoles.
