When it comes to great personalities that inspire the fashion industry, Robert Mapplethorpe is often a reoccurring reference for designers, stylists, photographers and more. The American photographer and his signature black & white images serve as inspiration for a new fashion editorial from CR Men’s Book. Appearing in the magazine’s debut outing, model Oliver Greenall channels the spirit of the late photographer in a story lensed by Sebastian Faena. Posing for quiet images, Oliver delivers a retro cool with an androgynous leaning. Sporting fall’s designer fashions, Oliver delivers a rocker’s edge in choice clothing from the catwalks of Gucci, Saint Laurent and Maison Martin Margiela, among other brands.
