Color Match–The diverse casting at Oliver Spencer’s spring/summer 2013 show reflected the strength and versatility of his whole collection, with a surprise guest appearance on the catwalk by Topman Design director Gordon Richardson. Signature outerwear pieces such as the Portland jacket and Fisher jacket were updated with bright linings and coated fabrics, teamed with bright pops of colours on the underpinnings in burnt orange, electric blue and desert sand. The introduction of a shirt/shorts outfit in a graphic Aztec print design broke up the sea of colour blocking of various combinations, with the olive-green/desert sand colourway working particularly well. / Words by Kenny Ho, Fashionisto London Fashion Editor.
