Art Undertaking–Showing his spring/summer 2014 collection, Oliver Spencer was inspired by American neo-expressionist painter Jean-Michel Basqiat. Blending ideas of art, architecture and London subcultures, Spencer referenced Basquiat’s graffiti art with dyeing and bleaching. Mixing these new conversation pieces with key pieces such as the trench, the collection revealed at The Old Sorting Office was a smart offering, dressed in hues of red, amber and sky.
2014? this could be 2013, 2012 whatever… nice clothes but nothing surprising.
