Paul Smith revisits 1960s tailoring trends for suiting.

Paul Smith spread peace with his spring-summer 2017 men’s collection. Unveiled during Paris Fashion Week as usual, the selection balanced the brand’s wearable signatures with a bold, graphic flair. Tropical hued tartan brought an easy attitude to sportcoats, backpacks, bombers and shirting. The English designer also looked to hockey for the silhouette of fun, casual tees. Honing in on suiting for the season, Smith revisited 60s tailoring for summerweight wool numbers. Tying the season’s upbeat theme together, patched denim jeans, colorful striped collars and peace sign embellishments charmed.
