Playing DEA agent Javier Peña on the Netflix series, Narcos, actor Pedro Pascal is the latest star to connect with So It Goes for a feature. Heading outdoors for a black & white photo shoot, Pascal links up with photographer Victoria Stevens. Wearing a mix of tailoring and casual staples, the 41-year-old actor wears pieces from brands, which range from John Varvatos to Lanvin.

Discussing the real Javier Peña with So It Goes, Pascal shares, “I think he actively keeps his real experience there secret–whether that’s because he did more than what we’re telling? Or less? I want to be able to interpret a character that was actually there on my own terms as much as possible.”

Describing navigating the confines of a series, Pascal continues, “The things that are the most interesting to me, and the audience, are ways to move through [the story] with more ambiguity; without seeing things in black and white. More than good guys fighting bad buys. With the show, they’re making a very authentic visual experience.
