The Perry Way–Merging fashion with art, Perry Ellis installed an art piece in Union Square of New York City on May 11, 2013. The project consisted of an interactive wall where families, kids, students, weekend strollers, and casual shoppers could grab a button that displayed a mantra, such as “Broadway is for the Bold,” “Keep Your Wit About You,” and “Pick Your Punctuation.” As more buttons were taken, a larger message was revealed on the wall, an exploration on creativity, and the converging boundaries between fashion and art.
