Premiering December 1, 2014, singer, producer and designer Pharrell takes up a starring role in Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld’s latest film for the label. Pharrell joins model Cara Delevingne for the feature, even producing a duet for them to sing. Pharrell plays a hotel elevator operator, who inspired the iconic Chanel jacket. Discussing the experience with WWD, Pharrell noted, “I don’t know how much more of a regal day one could have.” Pharrell will also reunite with Lagerfeld for one of the label’s upcoming advertising campaigns.
