Breaking Bad stars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston reunite for the pages of Esquire México’s April 2020 issue. While you may think that the duo has an acting project in the works, they are, in fact, new business partners. The famous duo is behind Dos Hombres mezcal. Paul and Cranston connect with Esquire to discuss their venture in alcohol. Brushing up on designer style, the actors appear before the lens of photographer Charlie Gray. Stylist Ilaria Urbinati outfits the stars in brands such as Dolce & Gabbana and Todd Snyder.
In a translated quote, Cranston explains how the idea of going into business with Paul came about. “We wanted to do something together, we were very close during the six years of Breaking Bad, and when it ended, we missed seeing each other every day on the recordings,” says Cranston. “Jokingly we asked ourselves what we could do, and suddenly we said: ‘What if we make a mezcal?’ The plan was to find something that we both liked, but not just because of it. We loved the flavor, and seeing it in perspective, we believe that it has much more complexity than tequila, for example.” Read more at EsquireLat.com.
