Ahead of the anticipated release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, English actor Henry Cavill links up with DuJour for the magazine’s spring 2016 cover story. The 32 year-old actor is photographed by Boo George with styling by Paul Frederick for the outing.
Enjoying an afternoon expresso at a London café with writer Jessica Bumpus, Cavill talks about the idea of being a movie star. The actor poses the question, “Do you want to be famous?” Cavill continues, “Then you shouldn’t be an actor. If you’re trying to be famous, you’ve lost before you’ve even begun. You might as well apply for [the reality series] Big Brother.”
Addressing the public scrutiny that comes with acting, Cavill explains, “I don’t feel the need to prove myself. If you’re worried about that then you’re worried about the wrong things. I never put that kind of pressure on myself. I’m quite happy doing what I’m doing.” Read more on DuJour.com.
