On the subject of style, L’Uomo Vogue recalls Smith’s Louis Vuitton womenswear campaign. The fashion house’s creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière said about Smith in a translated quote, “Jaden is representative of a generation that has assimilated the codes of true freedom–one that is free from questions of gender.” Ghesquière continues, “Wearing a skirt for him is as natural as it is for a woman to wears a men’s trench coat or tuxedo.”
