Esquire looks to none other than Josh Brolin to covers its September 2017 issue. The Only the Brave star embraces a rugged attitude as he heads outdoors with photographer Norman Jean Roy. Brolin talks to the magazine about where he’s at in his life currently. He shares, “I’m having more fun and I’m acting more than I ever have in my life.”

Brolin continues, “In the morning, it’s like I’ve taken half a cup of coffee and half a cup of liquid LSD and I’m tripping all day. And then there’s no consequence and I actually get paid for it.” Changing gears and gushing about Instagram, Brolin confesses, “I love it. I have no shame. I’m not trying to pimp my career with it.
