Messi talks to the magazine about the dedication required to become a great football player. In a translated quote, he explains, “In order to become an elite player, there were many sacrifices, but no more than any worker does to give a decent life to his family.”
Playing football, Messi adds, “It’s tough, but I chose it, and today I take it as a necessity to enjoy football. The rest, as for example the criticisms, have me without care. We know what we are exposed to today.”
