The 43-year-old actor talks to GQ about the reality of his recent fame and being a black man in America. Ali confesses, “When suddenly you go from being followed in Barneys to being fawned over, it will mess with your head.”
However, Ali explains that fame hasn’t completely changed the game. He shares, “Walking down the street in Berkeley and some cops roll up on you and say straight up, ‘Give me your ID,’ and you’re like, ‘What the fuck?'” Read more on GQ.com.
