In a translated quote, the singer shares, “Justin Timberlake has been a great reference for modern music.” However, he confesses, “But as for music as a sauce, Héctor Lavoe was always the number one artist I admired. I know all his songs, I listen to them every day and there is not one that bores me. He is my great musical inspiration.”
The Felices los 4 singer also talks about working with Ricky Martin and Shakira. Maluma exclaims, “Amazing! It has been amazing growth and learning. Everything happened in a very short time.” He explains, “Everything was very fast but it happened at the right time in my career. It was very special…from each one, I learned a lot on a professional and personal level.” Maluma continues, “I admire them and always dreamed of working with them. From childhood, I had in my mind the dream of going to study with them. They were unforgettable experiences.”
