The 27-year-old athlete is celebrated for good reason. After all, he’s this year’s European 60-metres champion. This accomplishment follows an impressive showing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, in which he was victorious as the champion of the 100 metres and a member of the gold-winning 4 x 100 m relay team.
Jacobs is enjoying the stardom that accompanies Olympic gold. Overnight, he gained 640,000 Instagram followers and now the question is what will he do next. With questions of the Paris Olympics in 2024 followed by Los Angeles in 2028, in a translated quote, Jacobs just says, “We’ll see. I have already put my dream around my neck and anything that happens after that will be a gift.”
