Matt Bomer promotes his Amazon project, The Last Tycoon by connecting with Mr Porter’s The Journal. Presenting a stylish outing that provides fall inspiration, Bomer connects with photographer Beau Grealy. It’s here that stylist Eilidh Greig outfits Bomer in Mr Porter’s latest arrivals from brands such as Brunello Cucinelli, Maison Margiela, and Prada.
Bomer talks to Mr Porter about working as an out actor in Hollywood. The American star explains, “I think labels are a dangerous thing. As an artist, the last thing you want is one label to identify you. You want to be able to have complete freedom over your identity.”
Asked about if being gay has affected his career, Bomer responds, “I’ve had some rough experiences, but I’ve also been blessed with generosity of spirit and artistic openness that maybe some people won’t ever get to experience because of who I am, so I can’t complain. The artists that I want to work with don’t have stigmas anyway.” Read more on MrPorter.com.
