Nick Jonas catches up with i-D for his latest feature. Photographed by Beau Grealy with styling by Nicolas Klam, Jonas hits the studio in a wardrobe from Dsquared2. Asked about the modern obsession with social media, Jonas is candid about his thoughts. He comments, “Social media is not important. It’s discouraging when you go to dinner with friends and their priority is posting pictures of the food and not having a good conversation.”

Changing gears and talking about his support of the gay community, Jonas shares, “When I went solo, I figured out what I wanted my opinions to be. Accepting the gay community was a priority because they’ve been so accepting of me.” Continuing the conversation, the Levels singer relates, “My message is not just acceptance but action.
