Ahead of the sixth season of Game of Thrones, Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau connects with Mr Porter’s The Journal for a feature. The 45 year-old actor is photographed by Blair Getz Mezibov with styling by Allan Kennedy. Heading outdoors and embracing casual style sentiments, Coster-Waldau is captured in fashions from Bottega Veneta, Rick Owens and more.

Considering the success of Game of Thrones and the show in its early days, Coster-Waldau recalls the script of the pilot episode. He shares, “I remember reading that script. And when he pushes the kid out of the window while he’s having sex with his sister, I just thought, ‘This is fantastic!
