Porowski talks to the magazine about the fame associated with Queer Eye. Fans frequently approach the guys in public for selfies. There are definitely days when I just want to be quiet and lonely. And so those days I need to adjust, you know,
says Porowski.
However, Brown reaffirms the positivity around the show. Everywhere I go, people sit down and tell me their life story–I will have people crying on my shoulder for 30 minutes and it means they really needed it.
Brown continues, If you feel us five could help you, then that’s powerful. The shift in our culture, where young boys are now finding it OK to embrace a show that has so much emotion and is led by five queer men, I think that’s just exceptional.
