Saks Fifth Avenue shares its latest television addition with a spring 2016 menswear outing featuring Outlander star Sam Heughan. The Scottish actor takes up a strong pose as goes sartorial in a microprint suit for Saks’ latest catalogue cover. Joined by costar Caitriona Balfe for a photo shoot lensed by photographer Matthew Brookes, Heughan is styled by Christian Stroble.

Dishing on a linen suiting number from Brunello Cucinelli, Heughan shares, “I don’t think I was really needed. The clothes did all the work!” Talking about wearing the various costumes for Outlander, Heughan jokes about the best part, conveying, “The kilt, kilt-wearing advice. Keep a hip flask in your sporran (a small pouch worn to hang in front of the kilt.) On the other hand, the 35 year-old actor confides, “The terrific costumes are authentic and made from wool, woven fabrics and leather. Perfect for keeping warm in winter. In a hot studio, I tend to melt.”

Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently made many people blush with a provocative cover shoot for Entertainment Weekly.
