Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca
Arnaldo Anaya-Lucca is a Puerto Rican fashion photographer. Anaya-Lucca’s photography career began by chance. In 1988, the photographer took a salesman job at Ralph Lauren’s New York flagship. By 1992, Anaya-Lucca was working for the brand as a member of its men’s design team. Setting his sights on advertising, in 1995, Anaya-Lucca became the Director of Visual Concepts.
Developing campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Anaya-Lucca worked with photographers such as Bruce Weber. Getting the photography itch himself, Anaya-Lucca photographed Ralph Lauren’s son Andrew. After seeing the results, Lauren hired Anaya-Lucca to photograph Tyson Beckford for the launch of Ralph Lauren Purple Label.
Anaya-Lucca left Ralph Lauren in 1997 to pursue photography full-time and the rest is history. Still working with Ralph Lauren to date, Anaya-Lucca’s portfolio includes work with clients such as GQ, Calvin Klein, Esquire, Lord & Taylor.
