Mario Testino

Mario Testino is a Peruvian fashion photographer. Born on October 30, 1954, Testino grew up in Lima before traveling to London in 1976 to study photography. Working with John Vickers and Paul Nugent, Testino began to develop his voice as a photographer. Taking inspiration from his childhood and Brazilian summers as a teenager, Testino delivered a unique point of view, that resulted in his first collaboration with Vogue in 1983.

Since, Testino has become on of the world’s most celebrated fashion photographers. Testino has worked with brands like Gucci, Burberry, Chanel, and Michael Kors. On the editorial side, the Peruvian photographer’s work has been featured in Vanity Fair, GQ, V magazine and more.
