Mark Seliger
Mark Seliger is an American photographer. Born on May 23, 1959, Seliger is best known for his portraiture, particularly of celebrities. Initially, Seliger began working for Rolling Stone in 1987. He served as the magazine’s chief photographer from 1992, 2002. In that time, Seliger shot more than 200 covers. After his tenure at Rolling Stone, Seliger began an ongoing relationship with Conde Nast Publications. The American photographer frequently shoots cover stories for magazines like GQ and Vanity Fair. He’s also captured portraits of celebrities such as Mick Jagger, Kurt Cobain, and Lenny Kravitz.
