While Pop-Up stores have been make waves around the globe over the last few years, Australia, has been a little neglected, with only a few note worthy variations in the very recent past, one being the Ksubi pop-up store in Melbourne, and the other being a Diesel pop-up store in Surry Hills, that appeared to be more of an outlet store than a conceptual, retail space that the term “Pop-Up” store inspires, especially after the amazing works of Christian Weinecke with the Comme Des Garcons pop-up stores.

However, a new pop-up store on Sydney’s Oxford Street looks to change all that.

Having just completed their second weekend of trade and stocking a wide range of beautiful objects, new and used, for boys and girls, including Beat Poet accessories and Marsu Homme shoes, the store has a distinct vibe that is rarely felt on the Sydney retail scene.  There’s also an art gallery in the basement.

It has only a few weeks left of trading, so best to get in and take a peak before it disappears.
