Ports 1961 gets a military style infusion for spring-summer 2017. Presenting his fourth collection for the brand, artistic director Milan Vukmirovic delivered a mix of tailored and relaxed separates under the banner Less Hate, More Love. Addressing a romanticized take on a prevailing military aesthetic, Vukmirovic weaved insignia, stripes and ceremonial braids throughout his contemporary lineup.
Here, structured jackets, embellished tops, chic capes, adorned shorts and cropped trousers contributed to the range’s enchanting character. Flower emblems, raw edges, jacquards and Vukmirovic’s signature star camo design add to the season’s strong points. Rounding out the collection with a sporty attribute, Ports 1961 collaborates with American brand Everlast, turning out hooded jackets, sweatshirts and logo dressed shorts.
