Potipoti is the brainchild of designers Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo.  Both graduated with degrees in Fine Arts and worked in Madrid, Spain as art directors until their move to Berlin in 2001.  Together, they founded potipoti in 2005.  The label is dedicated to the marriage of design, graphics, and fashion.  Potipoti is manufactured in “small and reliable textile companies” in Castilla, Portugal, and Leon, Spain.

There is always a bit of a fable in potipoti’s designs. In their latest collection for Autumn Winter 08, Totem, there is a pinch of folklore and a lot of imagination. The use of graphics and the shape of garments improves in each season. They bring from icy Berlin this their fifth and most grown up to date collection, a very colorful set of designs inspired in Native Americans Totems of polichromated wood as well as on vintage wooden toys. Beige, black, navy blue and colorful prints are the signature of this collection. Cotton and mohair, silk and micro-corduroy the fabrics.

LOVE the black & white webbed pants in the first picture and will more than likely be purchasing them.
