Short Farewell–The final collection by Alistair Carr for Pringle of Scotland saw a restrained color palette teamed with a modern boxy silhouette. The male twinset was reworked this season with polo collars and bomber shapes giving a sporty edge, and zips replaced button on cardigans and tops. Knitwear had enlarged and abstract versions of the Pringle diamond check and digitally altered camouflage in terracotta, beige, and white, while grids and linear lines featured on mesh effect knits. Vertical striped shirts in monochrome were shown under more tailored pieces. Sportswear came in the form of leather biker shapes with zip armhole detailing and parachute weight parka in white. Trousers with bold contrast panels gave a utility feel. Punches of yellow and tangerine lifted the muted and monochromatic palette. / Words by Kenny Ho, Fashionisto London Fashion Editor.
