pyrenex is a french company created in 1968, which since has become famous for anoraks, down and feather mountain jackets … following in the footsteps of another famous brand moncler, pyrenex decided to explore the more fashionable side, therefore hiring an art director (alexis mabille) in 2009 and adding a premium collection to their already existing home and sport collections …
the premium line marries the energy of the material with creative inspiration … these first truly urban jackets have a unique spirit where humor and lightheartedness unite in an intense and luxurious duo; sculpted, supple, soft, whether proportioned to fit under a coat or overstuffed to envelop the body, whether mini or maxi, they are dynamic, metropolitan and light …

sequins, metallic parachute silk, fur, all contribute to the breathtaking and virtuoso effect … the cut and dynamic shapes create lines that are rounded, cinched at the waist, enveloping, in clouds of midnight blue, storm gray, green, brown, silver or deepest black …
the work with volumes has upset all the codes in the design of traditional down jackets, transforming them into biker’s jackets, pea coats, bomber jackets, ponchos and paper thin vests designed to slip under a coat; hoods can be bought separately and combined as proper headwear accessories … by exaggerating the volumes, the designer has revisited traditional horizontal lines and has added a touch of glamour to the silhouettes …

  1. Since I just got in from running in the heat, the warm clothes aren't that appealing, but the colors and Florian are very attractive!
