Raf Simons debuts his fourteenth collaboration with Fred Perry with their fall-winter 2016 collection. Recalling his own connection with the brand, the Belgian designer shares, “When UK style and music had a strong influence in Belgium I became aware of the label through all the subcultures that adopted the Fred Perry shirt.” Simons confesses, “I only realized the tennis connection at a later age.” Diving into the brand’s archives for fall, Simons revisits signature icons. Creating a unique uniform, the collection features knit shirts, bomber jackets, and Italian-made v-neck sweaters.
