Designer Richard Chai pulled from his youth during the 90s for the inspiration of his fall-winter 2015 menswear collection. Looking to channel angst and defiance within his signature layers of sporty separates, Chai added graphic prints taken from broken marble. Taking colors from the artwork of 90s albums, prints were also sprawled across puffer coats, graphic t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts. Perhaps, the collection’s star, outerwear was front and center with oversized silhouettes and an urgent sense of protection. From anoraks with liners and ribbed jersey to hoods accented with fox fur, Richard Chai delivered an effortlessly cool fall collection.
