When it comes to Rihanna’s ongoing collaboration with Puma, the singer’s involvement has been a runaway success for the brand. New York Post recently reported that its US sales are up 40% with its women’s sneakers. Puma attributes the profits in part to Rihanna’s popular Creeper line. Now, Rihanna sets out to test her magical touch with menswear.
Presented alongside womenswear during New York Fashion Week, the Work singer unveiled a lineup of dark, adventurous looks for her Fenty x Puma fall-winter 2016 collection. Channeling a streetwear energy, slouchy and oversized proportions embraced a color palette of black, grey and white. Making for a bold fashion statement, the range included everything from a laced jumpsuit and cut-out joggers with garters to a luxurious shearling hooded jacket.
