German designer Robert Geller recalled 1980s Berlin for his spring-summer 2017 collection. Unveiled during New York Fashion Week: Men, the lineup offered relaxed silhouettes and bright pops of color. Revisiting the early 80s, Geller brought a young, fresh energy to the season.
Known for his smart use of varying proportions, oversized granddad collars, shrunken, tailored jackets, and leopard print trousers were only part of the designer’s selection of covetable pieces. Additional standouts included jumpsuits, sleek vests, pocket tees, and summer-weight coats. Slouchy shorts and color-blocked bomber jackets also contributed to the collection’s easy marriage of style and utility.
