Robert Geller brings romanticism to the New York catwalk this runway season. Working with hues of blue and purple, Geller pieces together layered knits and suiting with a refined elegance. Geller takes on the romantic gentleman, but seeks to bring him into the twenty-first century. Blazers and waistcoats benefit from bottom hems turned outward. The collection also sees the continuation of Geller’s work with gradients as well as the contemporary addition of leather. Overall, Geller does an excellent job of bringing a concept/vision to the runway that transforms mere clothes into a source of inspiration. His take on romanticism is perfect for the fall-not too soft and with just enough edge (note the leather gloves).
A must-have this season are a pair of Robert Geller knickers and for those trendsetters out there-belting is on the horizon.
