Back in February, Robert Geller won the award for GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer in America. As an added bonus, Geller was offered the opportunity to create a capsule collection for Levi’s, which he accepted. The result is an 11-piece range that will be available at stores next month, beginning September 10, 2009. Geller looked to the Levi’s archive for inspiration, reinterpreting a pair of jeans from the 60’s as well as a chambray shirt among other pieces. Stores selling the collection include “12 Bloomingdale’s units, on Bloomingdales.com and in seven Levi’s stores in New York, San Francisco, Miami Beach, Beverly Hills and Bucktown, Ill.” (WWD)
