British model turned corrective exercise coach, Roger Frampton is expanding his fit universe and sharing his vision with the world. For the last nine months, in addition to coaching clients in master classes, Frampton has been steadfast in developing his YouTube channel. We recently caught up with Frampton to find out more about his fitness philosophy and foray into the YouTube universe.

For those not familiar, can you explain what The Frampton Method is?
Hey Fashionisto, lovely chatting to you as always. Of course. The Frampton Method is a conscious form of exercise using a combination of bodyweight exercises with gymnastic principles

What made you think to launch a Youtube channel?
Having reached over half a million people with my TED talk “Move Like You Once Could”, I realised the high demand for people wanting to improve their body using my techniques. The YouTube channel has become a way of interacting with people from around the globe, while teaching people movements they can practice at home.

What do the videos cover?
The YouTube videos cover everything from squatting technique, handstands, posture and flexibility to standing powerfully.

How frequently do you update?
The way it works is this: The more that people request videos, the more they are likely to appear on the channel. The best thing to do is register for free at www.roger.coach/register to be exclusively updated with new content.

What’s the best way to ask questions or make video requests?
I’m very active on YouTube and encourage people to comment on videos which I’m always happy to reply to.

Social media is a current trending subject when it comes to models – what are your thoughts in general?
Social media is an interesting one. Slightly over rated but not to be ignored. It has power but I try not to spend too much time being distracted by it.

How do you approach social media?
I used to be precious of what I put up on social media by uploading specific images that would get high likes and comments to build up my numbers. Now I really don’t give a damn. Follow me – un-follow me. No biggy.

What else is new in the world of Roger?
Roger is busy writing a book. The book won’t be available until next year but will definitely be a follow-up to the popular TED talk. Expect some controversial topics against a flawed fitness industry as well as some long-term solutions the public can put into practice.
