Romanian designer, Oláh Gyárfás’s fictional character Rozalb de Mura is constantly traveling the world in search of “interesting destinations and charismatic people.” This season, Rozalb de Mura’s travels have brought him to London for On|Off Presents. The quiet occasion is marked by a somber ash gray with minimalist details. The subtle changes that do occur in shape, play with notions of gender. Broad, Frankenstein like shoulders highlight a hyper masculine element, while ruffles lend a certain femininity. Overall, Gyárfás presents a monochromatic world so stunning in its simplicity and attention to detail, that choice of color is not an issue.
