Intellect, youth, rebellion and style come together for Saint Augustine Academy’s fall 2011 collection entitled Les Enfants de Marx et de Coca-Cola. Taking a note from the Paris student riots of 1968, the Australian label polishes up their signature rock ‘n’ roll style for a smart season with a hint of old world charm. From sharp tailored looks and ornate prints to a casual excursion of tees, Saint Augustine Academy taps into several areas of inspiration to arise out of the riots, channeling music from the likes of Jacques Dutronc and an reexamination of polite order.
