Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimane found his fall muse in a fresh generation of young French musicians. The young rock muses inspired a lean trip down the catwalk with a beret as a nod to Paris. Delivering high fashion function and glam, pinstripe suits, tailored peacoats, long leather coats, fur jackets and sharp tuxedos were paired with the collection’s signature cigarette pants and leather ankle boots. Adding a glimpse of flesh, sheer shirts with scarfs made a chic impression. Among a simple black color palette, leopard, polka dots and a penchant for sequins made a bold splash.

I love what Hedi has done to change the old brand into something cool yet still luxurious.
Actually, my wallet is from Saint Laurent. This collection has lots of black and I like black!
However, I find the show and music boring. The ‘same’ cut for the jeans is also annoying.
I would also like to see some better looking models later. Maybe cut down on the street
casting and use a model agent. Gut feeling? I just think these shows are starting to look
the same. I’m loyal…but not blind. Keep up the good work.
James – Men’s lifestyle
Again Hedi Slimane shows very stylish and slim – skinny elegant outfits, so go and loose weight as did others before for his fashion 🙂
