Samuel L. Jackson delivers a piercing gaze as he covers the December 2015 issue of British GQ. The actor is photographed by Daniel Riera for the close-up shot. Wearing a graphic Giorgio Armani dress shirt, Jackson’s stylish clear glasses are his own. Discussing his latest film, The Hateful Eight, which was directed by Quentin Tarantino, Jackson shares, “I truly think it’s one of the best things he’s ever written, if not the best.”
Switching gears and talking about watching his own movies, Jackson confesses, “I like watching myself in movies…if I am channel surfing and I pass a movie that I’m in, I’m watching it no matter what. I have a drawer of nothing but my DVDs, so if nothing else, I can just go in and pull one out and put it in.”
Addressing other actors who are famous for doing the exact opposite, the 66 year-old actor exclaims, “That’s bullshit! Actors that say, ‘I can’t stand to watch myself’, well if you can’t stand to watch yourself then why the fuck do you expect someone to pay $13.50 to watch you?” Read more on GQ-Magazine.co.uk.
