Material Code–Embracing one of the growing trends of the season, Chinese label Sean Suen plays with fabric blocking and innovative cuts for their fall/winter 2013 collection. Starring models Bertold Zahoran and Herold Kalmar, the lookbook was shot by photographer Yu Cong, who captured the models in stoic poses interjected with a certain quirkiness. The collection embarks on a journey of various materials, from velvets and wools to metallics and even patent. The designer then plays with the tailored separates, infusing pleated layering and contrast fabric blocking to suiting staples for a collection that is both refined and visually arresting. / Makeup by Mi Zhipeng.
