Achieving new found fame in Hozier’s Take Me to Church music video, ballet dancer Sergei Polunin made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 25 year-old dancer performed the video choreography, sharing afterwards that “This dance was supposed to be my last dance.” Seen as a rebellious personality in the dance community, Polunin had once thought about giving up dance, but luckily didn’t. Asked about his many tattoos, which are unusual for a dancer, he explained, “It’s a lot of trouble because you have to put a lot of makeup on them” for routines, but “life is about risks.”
