Hot on the heels of its collaboration with designer Thom Browne, Mr Porter reunites with Richard James for another exclusive collection. Bringing a touch of Savile Row to the ready to wear market, Richard James plays with corduroy for one of the collection’s special features. Richard James design and brand director Toby Lamb shares, “This is definitely the widest exploration of the fabric that we’ve ever done. We often use a fine-wale cord as part of our tailored collection, but this capsule was born out of a desire to experiment with it more. And specifically to experiment with mixing and matching different textures within the same outfit.” Outside of five separate essentials dressed in corduroy, the collection also includes shirting, knitwear and denim jeans.
