Nordstrom Fall 2017 Campaign

Nordstrom looks to individuals who inspire them as the stars of its fall 2017 campaign. Photographer Max Farago and art director Clara Cullen not only contribute their talents to the advertisement, but appear in it as well. The outing also features inspiring people such as Creative Growth director Tom di Maria and Chicago Multi-Cultural Dance Center director Homer Hans Bryant. Nordstrom VP of creative projects Olivia Kim talks about the campaign.

She shares, “What’s really resonating with us right now is real people who are doing great and extraordinary things that inspire us in our everyday lives. It’s powerfully impactful—being a company that is so focused on people—and so, this fall, we wanted to highlight our friends and friends of friends we admire.” Kim continues, “We asked everyone to get together, and my old friends Max and Clara—who are now married and have a baby—took honest photos and even more honest videos of everyone. And that’s our ad campaign for the season.”
