Toy Soldiers–Recruiting Simone Nobili and Christopher Michaut, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci lets the cat out of the bag early this season with a pre-collection. Reinterpreting his signature pieces for the spring/summer 2013 season, images of boy scouts and small military soldiers inform the new range. Taking on his applauded uniform, shorts, jackets and layered shirts are adorned with vintage army aircrafts, stars and stripes. Juxtaposing dark colors, ranging from black and navy to slate blue with lighter shades like pale pink, Tisci brings jaded fun to a youthful outing.
