In relation to fashion, Belgrade is quickly on its way to becoming drama central. Here, the idea of convention has been lost in translation and modernity thrives. Joining the ranks of young designer Dejan Despotovic, Tijana Pavlov is the latest Belgrade designer to emerge on the scene. Pavlov has positioned her line to push the gender envelope. Using thoughtful and provoking “colors, shapes, and slogans”, she hopes to have an impact on menswear in Serbia. For her latest collection, Pavlov embarks on a futuristic journey with bold skin revealing cuts and a monochromatic color palette that is subject to a tantalizing fiery red.
