New on our radar is designer miguel Antoinne. Based out of New York, Antoinne aims to make clothes that men can dress up in, all while maintaining recession-friendly pricing. His spring showing at Studio 450 this past Friday showcased a blending of modern suiting with low-key leisure pieces. At the collection’s core were pieces dressed in black and gray, but what really stood out was Antoinne’s work with prints. It’s not ground breaking, but it’s always refreshing to see designers gravitate towards prints and then see how they use them. In Antoinne’s case, he uses it to his advantage, sprucing up solid garments to give them that extra special element that will distinguish the miguel Antoinne man from others.
